I Visited This Facility

We visited Provident Crossing. The rooms were very nice. They have quite a few activities including tai-chi, and they have a theater. They offer three meals a day and they provide shuttle service to shopping and doctors. It's very impressive and it's very neat. The staff was very helpful and the manager showed me around.

I Visited This Facility

I liked the appearance of Provident Crossing as well as the people I met. It's very neat, clean, and orderly. I enjoyed lunch there very much. It's also in an area where I do my shopping.

I Am A Current/Past Resident

I love the togetherness and the care that we have for each other...residents for each other... and between the excellent staff and the residents. We look out for each other, we notice if someone is not at a meal, and we notice if someone is alone and needs a friend. The manager, Stacy Fuller, added life and sunshine to this place…you could cry and she would have her arms around you, you could laugh and she would laugh with you… the old saying cry and cry alone is not true here… I love this place.. the people, the staff, the extremely well planned activities, and the variety. The food is much better, I rate it now a 4 1/2 out of 5. I recently made a suggestion about an item I would like to see on the menu, and low and behold the next time it was there..Turkey and Gravy!!! I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

I understand from a friend who has lived at Provident Crossing for 6 years that it is supposed to be a non-smoking facility. However the managers smoke! The smoke was filtering into her apartment and she complained. They moved her to another apartment but now are using that as a reason to evict her, saying she is a "trouble maker!'

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

After living in Provident Crossing for 6 or 7 years, and paying something like $86,000. in rent and fees, my friend just received an eviction notice. She is a very nice, educated and gentle person. She told me that because she participated in a written appeal for more protein and less starch in their meals, management wants her to leave with just 30 days notice.

I Am A Current/Past Resident

My mother has lived there for 2 years and the food is of low quality and poor nutritional value. The items glowingly described in their misleading flyer advertised mouthwatering, gourmet meal prepared by executive chefs. False. Expect a diet mostly of rice and beans. I've never even seen a steak on their menu plan once. When the residents gathered together and approached upper management on these issues, they said "seniors are very malleable". Their printed food budget in their literature states a $13.31 allotment per resident per day, yet in actuality (relayed by staff) it's $5.37. Overall, it is a nice facility. However, their treatment of the resident shows a lack of care and customer service, more concerned with the bottom line than the welfare and satisfaction of those that pay them.
