Nestled in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley, Brook Ridge is an all-inclusive, active retirement community serving seniors in the greater McAllen area. Our community is centrally located near shopping, restaurants, hospitals, the McAllen airport and the Mexican border. Se habla Espanol!

Residents of our community enjoy a number of premium on-site amenities from complimentary laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi in the common areas to on-site beauty salon services and a charming gazebo that is perfect for outdoor BBQs. We also boast a resident computer center and large fitness center.

Available Services
As part of our all-inclusive lifestyle, each resident enjoys the convenience of his or her own personal housekeeper who cleans, vacuums, dusts and changes the linens in each apartment every week. To ensure our seniors are receiving everything they need, we employ community managers who live right on site and make themselves available to residents day and night.
We provide daily meal service with breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily in our formal dining room. All dishes are prepared fresh on site by our very own chefs using tasty, yet healthy, ingredients. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback and contribute their own favorite recipes.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My ex-wife has moved into Brook Ridge Retirement Community and it's been very good. She does very well there. She's gone to their library, to the common area, she goes down for all her meals, and she has taken part in a number of other different activities. It's a very nice building with very nice grounds. The staff has been excellent with her and the residents have been very friendly. The meals are very good. I've eaten there myself and they have an alternative menu if you don't like what they're serving. There are always at least three choices each meal. Housekeeping is very good.

I visited this facility
The rooms at Brook Ridge were very beautiful and very nice. The staff was very nice and friendly. They had quite a few activities, an exercise room, the music room, and the crafts room. The facility had a nice dining area, but I didn't taste the food.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I lived at Brook Ridge a while back. I did not like it much, but my experience was very positive. The staff was wonderful. The people were very kind and caring, but I saw a little more need for assistance with the residents there. There were quite a few people who would have benefited from caregivers. They take them to doctors, dentists, and shopping. The food was very good.
