My father-in-law is staying at Montclair Estates. So far it's pretty good. The place is nice, secure, clean and in good condition. My father-in-law is pretty happy and all the residents are friendly. The cafeteria is pretty clean. We have no complaints at all. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. If we have any questions, they're always there to help, so we're happy. They play cards, parties where people can dance, and groups to play music. They take them to grocery stores once a week on a bus. The food is good and my father-in-law likes it even when he's pretty picky. The price is pretty reasonable and good.

We searched and searched for a happy place for my aunt. She's getting up there in age, but she doesn't need a walker yet. We wanted to find a place which didn't feel like a nursery home, and filled with fun activities. Montclair Estates was the perfect match! From the moment we walked in the door, the site leasing agent, Allison, was bright, cheery and stepped us through the process with ease. Her candor and dedication to the well being of the tenants did not go unnoticed. The facility was clean, the food was well prepared, and the units were excellent due to a recent remodel. My aunt will be very happy here!

Montclair Estates is only independent living, but it's not what I thought it was. They advertised it wrong to me. You have your own kitchenette, but they don't have any facilities for medical care. I went here because I thought I would have independent living and no children around because it's really small. They say only two people can live in the apartment and you can't have any more, but now they started renting to anyone, and they don't have to be a senior. There are good staff members, but there are others running it who I couldn't care less about. The older people are real friendly. The rooms are very nice, but they haven't done the repair that I would've liked because my door has a big crack in the front. They have a new group of people running it, and they did work for me because I couldn't climb up the ladder. I have a patio, and I tried to get someone over here to do some work, but you have to put a work order in first. The lady came over and did it herself, and then made it a big deal in an email that she came over and cleared my problem for me. She's trying to build her name for herself with her company and making me look inferior. I like where it's located, and the surroundings are pretty. It used to be one of the best in Dallas. It's old, and they remodeled for almost the whole year. They are good workers.

Truthfully, if it hadn't been for the price, Montclair Estates would have been my first pick. It was very good. I loved it, and everything about it was good except for the price. We just couldn't afford it. Everything was perfect there. The staff who assisted us was very good. I can say that she was friendly and informative. She was great. She showed us everything. The dining area was nice. Their outings were good too. They had game days, movies, and a few outings a month.

Montclair Estates was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was all of the apartments were outside, and I didn’t want my dad walking in bad weather to get to the dining room. Meals and cable are not included in the rent. They had a small exercise room and a large dining room. The place was very clean but just not for my dad.

I visited Montclair Estate, but I wasn't too crazy about the place. I didn't like the layout there. There was only one elevator and they didn't have something that would help you not walk around in circles. It was just spread out. The rooms were really nice, and they have different sizes available. The amenities were OK, but I don't think they were the best. They have a chapel, but no salon or library. The building itself was nice.
