My mother-in-law is moving into Brookdale Trinity Towers. She is living in Florida, and she does not have any family there, so we kind of wanted her to be closer to where we are located. They have all the amenities that will suit her because she's not healthy and all. She can still get around and do things, but she needs help. There are a lot of things there that they can help her with. There is the staff -- the medical staff will feed her twice a day. There are activities, games, the library, and the pool. She will still have her own place. She will still feel independent; she won't feel like that has been taken away from her. She can come and go. She does not have to stay there; she can spend the night with us. We can pick her up, take her to eat, and take her back. Most of all, we liked the medical and the security that they have. She still has her independence, and that is overall one of the most important things. They have physical therapy -- all kinds of different physical therapy if she should need it. In our household we can't give her those things, and we can't medically take care of her. The staff who gave us the tour was very friendly. She walked us through the apartment, showed us each room, showed us the bathroom, and showed us where the emergency bathroom was. She was very thorough as far as walking us through the facility and the apartment. Overall, I would say she did a good job, and she was very pleasant.

We visited The Waterford at Corpus Christi, but we left after seeing the room we were looking at, because it didn't meet our needs at all. They said it had a small kitchenette, but you can't really call it that -- it was a closet with a microwave. We were really disappointed in this community. The size of the room was fine, it's just that it was not what they described to us. We didn't feel comfortable with the staff member who accommodated us. Every other senior community they sat us down and explained what they offered, but he didn't do that. He gave us paperwork first that was about confidentiality. It was a very odd feeling when we were there. When we went into the lobby area, and the dining area, the cleanliness was awesome, but the room itself didn't seem clean and was very dated. The lobby was beautiful, and as we walked past the dining area it was nicely decorated. If it's going to be a room that's advertised to have a kitchenette, they need to update that part of it. The bathrooms in the rooms need some updating as well.

I thought that everything it has is wonderful. If I ever need to go to a senior community myself, that's the one I'll choose. I was pleased with the layout, the floor plan, the people, and everything. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. While we were visiting, they had a group of people singing country songs, another group outside doing Zumba while in their walkers, and a movie night. The person who assisted me was the most wonderful guy I ever met and so helpful. The couple of residents I spoke to seemed happy and said it's a wonderful place.

The Waterford at Corpus Christi was very beautiful. They had a first floor apartment, which was appealing, and it seemed to be pretty clean and organized. They also have a lot of amenities. The staff didn't realize we were there for the tour and they seemed to be a little disorganized. We actually stood around and waited for almost 35 minutes. They have a bus available, parties, and they seem to be a very busy community.

It was beautiful and lovely. They have a van to doctors' appointments and they also have a beauty salon. The food was excellent. We looked at a small 1-bedroom and a large 1-bedroom. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, patient, and answered all the questions I hadn't even thought to ask.

Brookdale Corpus Christi was excellent and I really liked their staff. It was an older place and outdated, but it was very clean. The issue with us was the bathroom door opens out into the living room rather than to the bedroom.

The only thing I didn't like about Brookdale Trinity Towers is that they pick and choose who they want there. Other than that, it's good. The place was old, but OK. The rooms were very nice; I liked them. They're clean and well-maintained. The location is great for us because it's right in the middle from where I live and from where my mom lived, which was great. However, they didn't want my dad there.

Brookdale Corpus Christi seemed to be a very nice place. It was clean and they were friendly people. My mother had a friend there. The dining area looked nice. We saw one room, we saw the main office, and they showed us the dining room. The room was clean and nice.

I have friends who live at Trinity Towers, which is a Brookdale home. It's very nice and generally friendly. The staff is always very helpful. They do a variety of activities. They have communion services and bingo. However, they don't have some of the fancy things, like a swimming pool.
