Cannot say enough good things about the staff and management of American House in Lebanon. We had such a good feeling about them when we did our tour of their facility with my mother. Safe to say they went above and beyond for my mother’s care. Especially when her health began to decline. They treated her like she was their own mom. Food is great, activities person is great with loads of positive energy! Definitely a great place for your loved one!!

It is a fine place and the people were very friendly. The grounds are very well-kept and the location is good. There are games and activities for the residents like Uno and Bingo, they have entertainment come in and so on. I ate there with my husband last night and the food is not 5-star restaurant good, but still really good. I chose the efficiency apartment that has a closet, bathroom, and room for a bed and dresser, but they also have different levels. The staff there is also great.

The staff member was very friendly, very nice, helpful, and gave me a nice tour. They had an area for memory care, and they served three meals a day plus snacks. They had bingo, reading, music, card games, and pets visiting the residents. There were also people coming to read to the residents and Church groups. They had a big gathering area where they can watch movies. The food looked appetizing and smelled wonderful. The staff member who assisted me looked like she really cared about what she was doing, treated everybody like family, and was very receptive and welcoming.
