I Visited This FacilityReview of Brookdale Cleveland

The place is a bit outdated and the rooms are small (the prices are not small). The staff is over burden and too much turn over. The food is excellent and the place well maintained. But the people living here are not looked after at times. I have been told certain staff members do as little as possible to help the people and let many of them take care of themselves. The bus only runs 2 days a week for doctor visits and the trips they take the residents on are short and too few get to go. The security is not very good here and they let just about anyone come in especially evenings and weekends. I would not let any of my family stay here.

Brookdale Cleveland was very friendly and very kind. The people were warm; however, the place was dated, and there were limited amenities. I think the place could use some updating. The rooms were small and they had no kitchenette, not even a countertop for a microwave, so that seemed limited. You don't have as much independent living ability there. For activities they have outings and exercise times. They have a garden area out in the back. They have meetings and church services, which impressed me. They offer other amenities and services. They serve three meals a day. They also have transportation and a driver available that takes people on scheduled appointments. The staff members were very warm, very kind, and willing to answer any of our questions. They have called me since my visit to see how I'm doing and if I would be willing to come back.

I visited this facilityReview of Charter Senior Living of Cleveland

Morningside of Cleveland appeared to be very clean. The residents seemed to be engaged in different activities. The gentleman who I toured with was very pleasant, very informative, and seemed to know most of the residents by name. I visited a shared room that was very adequate for their needs. The dining area was very spacious, very bright, and cheerful. They were doing some activities with the residents when I was there, and he went over the list of activities that they have.

The staff at Brookdale Cleveland was very helpful. The rooms were all very clean, neat, and orderly. The place smelled and looked good, and the residents were all very friendly.
