Welcome to Salem Mennonite Home For the Aged! The Salem Mennonite Home exists in response to God's Calling for a Ministry to the elderly. Our Mission is to provide a home with a Christian atmosphere that will care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of older persons.
Our Philosophy of care is based upon resident choice, dignity, privacy, independence and participation in decisions.
The Salem Mennonite Home is Freeman's assisted living community - a caring place that 35-40 active seniors call "home". In addition to a cozy, comfortable atmosphere for our residents, we provide 24 - hour care and personal services, as well as a variety of social activities. We are licensed by the South Dakota Department of Health.
