Friendly people and caring staff make Brookdale Florence (formerly known as Sterling House of Florence) an ideal community for the personalized assisted living care we provide. Nestled between the New Jersey Turnpike and the Delaware River, our lovely community offers access to an array of services within a few blocks, including a post office, pharmacy, houses of worship and a range of dining opportunities. Our cozy atmosphere sets the scene for a lifestyle that is tailored to eliminate the chores of life, while promoting independence and choice for all of our residents.

We offer residents a rich and rewarding experience with beautifully decorated spaces that are bright and cheery. Our attractive studio and one-bedroom apartments come in a variety of floor plans to suit every taste. Each unit includes cozy carpeting, a kitchenette and private bathroom with step-in shower. Select units also feature private patios for personal enjoyment.
Our single-story building provides many comfortable areas to socialize or relax. Residents meet for classic movie night around the TV, enjoy a riveting mystery in the library or get their hair done in our on-site beauty/barber shop. The indoor sun room is a perfect spot for appreciating the natural beauty of our community any time of year.
Available Services
Residents at Brookdale Florence have all the comforts of home right at their fingertips, and we provide many services, including housekeeping, laundering of personal clothing items and transportation to outings, events and scheduled appointments, for their convenience.
We partner with residents to design a service plan that meets their changing needs. Staff are available 24 hours a day to help with personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming and dining, in the privacy of their apartment.
