- Special Comment: Lancaster County, Pennsylvania – Brereton Manor is a small personal care facility committed to providing quality, loving care for seniors. We are located in Washington Boro, near Lancaster, PA and right in the middle of Pennsylvania’s magnificent farming country. Our intimate facility is located on six beautiful country acres and is surrounded by cornfields and pastures that are home to the horses and ponies that live on the Brereton Manor site. There are walking paths and plenty of outdoor rest areas that offer views of our property and the surrounding countryside while providing the opportunity for vital outdoor exercise to our residents. The Brereton garden supplies us with wonderful fresh vegetables throughout growing season and the horses that are stabled here are available to the children and grandchildren of our residents with appropriate notice.
