A carefree lifestyle that includes the personal care services needed to promote independence and days filled with exciting social events is what loved ones will find when joining Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme. And for when more advanced healthcare is needed, we can provide these services at our sister community, Penny Park community.
Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme is one of several senior living communities owned by Wesley Enhanced Living. We are a nonprofit, faith-based senior living provider whose communities deliver a wealth of opportunities. Because we know that the old rules about retirement no longer apply, our staff are committed to create the purpose-filled lifestyle our residents desire.
A fully stocked library, coffee bar and a beauty salon/barber shop are just a few of the community features that are included in your loved one's new home at Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme. We also have a full recreation calendar filled with activities and outings that keep our residents laughing with friends and learning a new hobby. For those times when a resident wants a moment of quiet reflection, there is a landscaped courtyard or worship chapel.
Residents can choose from a variety of floor plans that range from an intimate studio to a spacious one-bedroom suite. Homelike touches include wall-to-wall carpeting, in-suite climate control, kitchenettes and private bathrooms. What residents also appreciate are the stunning views available from their private balcony or patio.
Every day our residents gather together for delicious meals served restaurant-style in our main dining room. During the day when a light snack or coffee is wanted, there is the always open coffee bar. Concierge services are also available, and for when residents need to run errands or attend appointments, they can relax in style as we chauffeur them around.
The personal care services are all-inclusive so budgeting is easier. Services include assistance with activities of daily living, escort to meals and activities, diabetic management and oxygen maintenance. If skilled nursing services are needed, we can provide a seamless transition to our nearby Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

My mother stayed at Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme for two weeks for respite care. They were pretty good, and the food was good. They were understaffed. I don't think most of my complaints were heard well. One day they gave my mother somebody else's medication, and they claimed that they had resolved that by letting go of the girl who had done it. They don't have nurses on medication, and I don't approve of that because I think one should always be the one giving medication because they're qualified. They don't have name tags on people so how can you be positive that you're giving somebody the right medication? The food and activities were very good.
