Rockwell Retirement Center looked fine to me. The staff member was very helpful. He was really good; he told us everything. The residents were playing cards when I was there. Also, it was around Christmas, so they had a group come in and sing carols. The place was very homey, nice, and very clean. The rooms were clean. Some were small and some were big. They had different sizes.

We turned away from Rockwell right away. When we got there, nobody met us. We walked through the halls looking for somebody and found a young girl who showed us to the office, which was way upstairs. They only offered a room and a bathroom, which I turned down right away. I didn't want that. With what I saw there, it would probably be the cheapest place that we visited. The gentleman and the lady in the office were friendly, but it was just a studio and a bathroom, and I didn't want that. It's a smaller area too. It was an old school and it was dark in the hallways. Also, there were some things that my son noticed that needed repairing; there were wires hanging down.
