The Atrium

The Atrium, a Choice Community, is a homelike community that delivers personalized assisted living and respite care. Every day we meet the needs of our residents by working with them and their families to ensure they receive the respectful care they need to continue enjoying life.

The Atrium is a senior living community that is overseen by Senior Choice Inc., a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to serving the elderly and disabled in western Pennsylvania.

At The Atrium we offer a variety of life enrichment activities such as outings (our residents love the Christmas Light Tour), holiday celebrations and games. Our community is designed to encourage socializing by having comfortable common areas and TV rooms. Our residents also enjoy relaxing in our on-site spa and when they need a hair cut, they can stop by our beauty salon.

When joining our community, new residents may select from semiprivate or private apartment suites. Each apartment has a full bathroom and an emergency call response system. Also included in the base rate is phone service and utilities. Families will never have to search for parking when visiting since we have plentiful on-site parking.

Available Services

Our residents enjoy three, freshly prepared meals served restaurant-style every day, and healthy snacks are provided between meals. We also provide scheduled transportation for errands and medical appointments. Weekly housekeeping and personal laundry service frees everyone from daily chores so they can have more time having fun.

For each resident we craft an individualized support plan that details the level of care we will provide, whether it's assistance with activities of daily living or medication. Our staff is on site 24 hours a day to lend a hand whenever it's needed. Other healthcare services that we offer include home health services and hospice care. We also offer respite care, which families greatly appreciate when their loved one needs to stay temporarily away from home.
