The professional staff provides blood sugar monitoring, insulin dosage adjustments, single-person assisted transfers and incontinence care for bladder and bowel issues. The facility is also equipped to handle colostomy care and on-site hospice care as needed.
At A Place Called Home, residents can choose to participate in on-site activities for physical and mental health. Residents are allowed outdoor leisure hours, and for the safety of residents with memory impairments, a WanderGuard perimeter has been installed.
