Our daily offering of Meaningful Pursuits activities promote socializing and learning, and for reflective moments, there is a courtyard and library where residents can relax and watch the birds or read a book.

When joining Macklyn Place, new residents have the choice of studio or one-bedroom apartment that has an option of private or companion occupancy. Residents are welcome to furnish the apartment to their choosing and bring a pet. The apartments have a kitchenette so residents can prepare snacks between the three delicious, nutritious meals served in our community dining room that features restaurant-style dining.

Available Services

To free up our residents' time spent doing menial tasks, we take care of the apartment chores of housekeeping, trash removal and laundry services. We also provide transportation for group outings and personal errands. Because we have space for on-site therapy, medical personal can visit our community and save our residents a trip into town.

We believe that all seniors deserve great care, regardless of their health care needs. This is why, in addition to providing assisted living services for our residents, we offer urgent placement programs, transitional services, and respite stays for Brookings-area seniors and their families. By doing this, we provide family members the support they need so their loved one can recover and regain their health.
