Description of The Heights of Summerlin
The Heights of Summerlin provides post-acute medical and rehabilitation services to individuals following a hospital stay to ensure a speedy recovery. The facility handles short-stay care, long-term care, respite care, palliative care and rehabilitation therapy.
The interdisciplinary team offers individually designed clinical services and accelerated rehabilitation programs alongside around-the-clock care. It provides support with respiratory issues, managing diabetes, wound care, heart-related problems, stroke and other neurological conditions, oncology care, orthopedic injuries and joint replacements, among other things.
Residents can choose between spacious private and semi-private rooms, each fully air conditioned and with its own private bathroom. The facility also has various communal spaces where seniors can enjoy spending time, such as gardens, courtyards and a music room. Conveniences include beauty and barber treatments as well as housekeeping and on-site laundry. Residents also benefit from the delivery of mail, newspaper and pharmaceuticals.

I chose the Heights of Summerlin, and we're very happy with it. My mom is very much taken care of, it's close to where we are, and the doctors and nurses are very good and accommodating. The place is clean.

What a horrible place. I am currently here, and will be for a while. The facility is old, worn down, dirty, smelly, and everything else. Food, don\'t even go there, I guess the upside is I will be bake to loose weight rather than eating this dog food. They don\'t even bring me food, I have to remind them everyday that I am here and entitled to a tray! They have 15 beds per each CNA. Essentially, if you\'re coming here, then you\'re coming here to die. There is no care here, just pain and agony!
