My mother has hospice care at Heartland of Beavercreek. It's adequate and they communicate with me. They call about once a week to let me know what's going on with her. It's not small, but it shows its age a bit. It appears clean overall. The room size that she's in could be improved upon. It's like closed quarters. She was in their rehab section where the rooms were bigger and a little bit nicer. It's not quite as nice when she went to the hospice care, which is in a different part of that same building. In the rehab section, each bed has its own television, whereas the one she has now does not. It's a little cramped in there. The staff has been very helpful.

Traditions at Beavercreek was very nice. It's actually our second choice among the places we've been to, and we like the location. The only deciding factor was that the 2-bedroom apartment doesn't have a second bathroom, but they apartments were adequate in size and the layout was nice. They have transportation, a workout room, a theater, opportunities for social gatherings, and they bring people in. They were having a concert on the evening that we were there. The staff member was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and pleasant, and they answered all our questions. I liked the community atmosphere that they had best.

Traditions of Beavercreek was a beautiful facility. It's nice, new, clean, and the rooms were spacious. They had a nice theater room, where they show movies every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. They had a bar for happy hour, a place to play cards, a library with computer and books, and an outdoor area. The memory care had a dining area, an open TV area with couches and chairs, and a group of tables for activities. They had a selection of music on CDs that they can listen to.
