Situated in Tabor City North Carolina, Tabor Commons is a peaceful assisted living community that provides different level of care. We are a resident-centered community focused on providing convenience and heart-felt service. Each resident would be treated with utmost respect and care that is to be expected.
Tabor Commons is licensed by the state of North Carolina as an assisted living facility to provide care to adults 18 years of age and older. Our priority is to provide top quality loving care to our residents. Here residents have the freedom, independence, and respect they deserve.
Featured Amenities
Our community offers companion suites and individual rooms. All units has its own private bathroom, spacious closets, emergency call system and individually controlled air condition. Residents can decorate their units to create a home like environment and make it a place of comfort and privacy.
We have our own beauty parlor and barbershop where residents can get a haircut or perm. Our stunning garden is a relaxing place where residents could walk or exercise. We also have a living room that has comfortable lounges where residents could read a good book while having a good cup of tea.
Available Services
Residents of Tabor Commons can avail different services such as “Assistance with Daily Living” and Therapy services. To ensure residents are in good health and maintain it we serve fresh, delicious and healthy meals that can be customized based on resident’s dietary needs. Residents won’t grow tired of the place because of our Activity Programs.
Upon arrival each resident in the community is designed their own patient-centered plan of care. Our team will then provide all the necessary assistance to ensure each individual in the community maintains the highest quality of living with the guidance of this care plan. They are available 24 hours a day. We provide assistance in daily activities, mobility and medication management.

I visited this facility
Tabor Commons was an older community, but it's nice. The staff member during the tour was nice, but she never got back in touch with me. The room that we were shown was large, and the dining area was clean. We had an appointment, but they were surprised that we were there. They should be aware of people that are coming to tour the facility. The director said she would get back in touch with me, and she never did. She needs to keep her word.

Pat or Donna in the business office should be able to help if you are still needing something in her absence. They can be reached at the community Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
