I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom moved into assisted living at The Crossings at Wayside. For as long as she's been there which has only been a little less than two months, the staff has been caring. The place is very easy to get to and has pleasant surroundings. They have pleasant outside areas to sit and to walk. They have single and double rooms which are adequate, pleasant, and comfortable. Each room has windows and its own bathroom which is nice. My mom participates in some activities which go on all the time. The food is good.

The staff at The Crossings at Wayside was pretty good. The rooms were nice and a good size. The residents looked happy and everybody was friendly. The lady who showed us around knew everything that was going on and was as friendly as could be.

The Crossings at Wayside is clean and well staffed. My mother has a smaller, nice, and cozy room. They have a calendar of daily activities, take the residents on outings, have exercises, and play games. It's expensive.

I visited this facility
I was very impressed with The Crossings at Wayside. They had a friendly staff, and there's always someone at the front. If someone is on a special diet, they would wrap it up and tell them that's their plate. They have an activities director who goes from room to room getting people up to go do activities. The dining area and coffee bar were very nice and always open if they want a snack. Some of their activities are painting, dancing, and singing, or they take the seniors out to places like Walmart or to eat at a restaurant. They don't leave them out doing nothing and encourage them to participate. They have wider hallways and are less expensive than our current community.
