Conveniently located just minutes from the Carolinas Medical Center Union campus, the Monroe Country Club & Golf Course and beautiful Lake Lee, Brookdale Monroe Square II (formerly known as Clare Bridge of Monroe) is a unique senior community providing specialized memory care to North Carolina seniors challenged by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Brookdale Monroe Square II was designed specifically to meet the needs of seniors with memory loss by offering an environment as similar to home as possible. Our facilities feature subtle, way-finding cues and circular hallways to help our residents easily find their way around.

Our building is handicap-accessible and boasts a wealth of amenities, including a library with large-print books and books on tape, a convenient beauty/barber shop, a fully-staffed dining room featuring nutritious meals, and a spacious family room for residents to entertain guests.

Available Services

Residents enjoy an award-winning dining program designed by specialists to enable seniors struggling from memory loss to enjoy success when dining. To achieve this, we offer dementia-friendly menus, assistance with eating and consistent seating arrangements day after day. Our chefs prepare three, heart-healthy meals a day which are served in our full-service dining room.

To ensure our residents live as full a life as possible, trained staff are available on site to provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming and changing. We also provide housekeeping and laundry services for added convenience. Transportation to off-site destinations and appointments is also available.
