An assisted living community in Mars Hill North Carolina that is a member of Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) and follow its philosophy of care is Mars Hill Retirement Community. We are a resident oriented community that manages to follow a wellness model that encourages residents to be more involved.

Mars Hill Retirement Community is a development by Justus M. Ammons, a native of Mars Hill whose family still has deep roots in the area. The Ammons family have developed, owned and managed many communities across North Carolina and are experienced providers in the retirement industry.

Featured Amenities

An array of floor plans is available in our community. Residentscan choose from studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and companion suites. All homes has its own private bathroom, kitchenette, living room and climate control. All homes are well maintained and has a window with an amazing view.

Our community is designed to provide comfort and enhance the quality of living of our residents. We have an elevator for easy mobility of our residents through the whole community. We have a hydrotherapy room to bring rejuvenation to our residents and a beautiful outside patio with a peaceful atmosphere.

Available Services

Residents are served with delicious meals freshly prepared three times a day. All meals are nutritionally balance to help keep residents healthy. We provide transportation services if residents wants to go out and do shopping or go to their appointments. We also provide help in housekeeping, laundry and maintenance of residents home.

Our staff are fully trained and competent to provide different level of care. They are on the community 24 hours a day. Each resident receives personalized care program. To maintain residents quality of life, when their needs change we can help them with the bathing, grooming, dressing and medication management.
