Hygiene and patient care needs major improvement. Dads nails and toe nails not kept trimmed or clean. Rarely shaved and hair uncut. Looked like a homeless person when I saw him this month. Not making sure he eats. Different answers from personnel regarding issues with care. No o e seems to know what\'s going on.

My mom has moved into Meadowview. It is excellent. The people are very friendly and caring. Food is good, the room is perfect, and they are able to decorate their own room to make it homey. They have everything from playing bingo, watching TV, playing shuffleboard, and playing card games.

Our tour of Meadowview Assisted Living went well. The facility appeared adequate, but nothing was out of the ordinary. I did not like the living quarters because it was two beds to a single room. It would be fine while my mother and father are both alive, but what happens if my father or mother passes away and next thing you know a stranger is living with them. That to me is not a good situation. The staff member that I met was very pleasant. The people who live there seemed well cared for, but I wouldn't say they appeared to be happy.

Meadowview Assisted Living was very large and very friendly. The residents seemed to be involved in activities and they seemed to be comfortable there. It was very clean. My sister didn't want a roommate. She wanted a private room, but they wouldn't advise it. I went down that private hall and there didn't seem to be much life there; you'd be alone. They let me know that if she was put in a private area, that could be bad for her, unless people are going to visit her often. The room was nice, large, and you can bring your own furniture. They have a big garden, which I like, and a sitting area outside. They have a big family room.

The rooms at Meadowview Assisted Living were nice. We were looking for just respite care, but it was very warm, and very nice. The people were nice and very open. They have a garden and a sitting area out front. From what I could see, the staff members were busy and involved with the residents.

The general appearance of Meadowview Assisted Living is superb. It was very good. The staff was very eager to show us around, they have a beautiful campus, and lots of activities for the residents. They have bingo, and a van that takes them to the shop and things like that. We also walked through the beautiful dining area. The staff members were very aware and deliberate in explaining things to me.

The people at Gabriel Manor were very friendly and very nice. It was a very nice looking place, very well kept, and fairly new. I was disappointed with the size of the rooms, though. I was expecting them to be larger. They had a salon, a community room, transportation for trips, and a workout room. They had adjoining rooms -- which seemed a little larger -- but you're sharing the bathroom with someone else.

My husband moved in to Gabriel Manor a week ago. The place is OK. We had some issues with the administration, but everything is good now. His room is fine with a single bed, a dresser, a wardrobe, and a nightstand. We brought his chair and put some pictures in there from home. He shares the room and the bathroom with a man. They have an area where they play games, watch TV, and listen to music.
