Avendelle at Garner is located in a serene neighborhood in Garner, North Carolina. The area is close to the White Oak Crossing retail center and medical services at the Johnston Health Clayton. The city exudes Southern charm and was named an All-America City in 2013, with its historic business district, scenic parks and trails, bustling arts scene and recreational amenities.
Avendelle at Garner creates a homelike environment with spacious private and semiprivate rooms specially laid out to support ease of mobility. These are complemented with housekeeping and laundry services. Personalized care plans incorporate seniors' needs and preferences and are supervised by an around-the-clock staff. Visiting physicians from the Neighborhood Clinic oversee residents' health needs. Services also include medication management and administration.
Dining options at Avendelle accommodate special diets and food preferences, with three nutritious meals and three snacks served daily. The facility is equipped with a fire alarm and sprinkler system and an exit door alarm system to ensure a safe, secure environment for its residents. Seniors participate in social, leisure, recreational and educational activities, and pampering is provided by a visiting hairdresser. Additional amenities include cable TV in each room and telephone available for residents' use.
