I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
The apartments at Shads Landing were nice and clean. The whole place was nice. I saw people socializing together the morning I was there. I liked the dining area; it was open, well lit, and it was nice. They have a library, an exercise room, laundry facilities on each end of the building, a movie room, and some people were there working on the computers.

I visited this facility
Shads Landing is a newer community, and it almost reminds of living in a hotel. One of the rooms that I saw had an access to a patio, which I thought was pretty nice. It wasn't gated though, and it wasn't secure. We went into a unit that's empty, so the living space is kind of open. The staff that gave us he tour was very knowledgeable, but that's to be expected. They answered all of our questions and showed us around.

I visited this facility
I had a positive visit at Shads Landing, and everything was excellent, clean, and spotless. I sat at a table with a couple who explained how much they liked it there, and some of the things they did. The food was very good and well-balanced. I saw the library. The apartment was extremely nice, the bedroom was a large size, and the bathroom was nice. The staff was polite and gracious.

Shads Landing is a nice place; I like it. It's clean and they have a lot of activities. They had movies, played games, had a pool table with a large dining area, had chapels, and had a little gym area.

I visited this facility
Shads Landing is a nice place, and it's clean. The tour was very thorough, and the staff was friendly. The unit that I saw was just a basic room with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. They had a library, a chapel, and laundry rooms. Meals are included. I only met one staff during my tour there.

I visited this facility
I went to Shads Landing for a tour. It seemed very nice. The employees that I met were very nice too. The residents were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice. What I saw was like a 1-bedroom apartment without a kitchenette. Shads Landing seemed like a very nice place for people who don't have a lot of medical needs or Alzheimer's. It was not an assisted living place, so it would have not worked for my situation, because I needed my sister to have more supervision.

I visited this facility
Shad's Landing was fantastic, but the problem is I feel too young compared to the residents there. The inside of the complex looks very promising and very good. The staff was very nice and courteous. I liked the 2-bedroom deluxe apartment, it's spacious enough, and there's sufficient amenities for my needs. The place is clean. I also have a ticket to drop in for a meal at any time and will do so in the future.
