My father was at Garden Gate. I couldn't go in there much, but I wasn't very pleased with them. They never told me that my father could go to assisted living. They never gave me that information. I found it out accidentally that he could be moved to assisted living. I was not very thrilled with them. They didn't have any assisted living there, it was all skilled nursing. My father also said that the food was terrible. They had activities, but I didn't think they were doing much because of the pandemic. My father went there for rehab. However, his social worker should have told me where he could be moved to. That didn't happen until I found out a few months down the road, after I spent a fortune, that he didn't have to stay there. The facility was older. Also they had you come in the side door, which looked bad. Even when I picked my dad up, I said, "Do I pick my dad up at the front door?" and they said, "No, you have to come to the side door." It was like, you can't let them out the front door? I know there's COVID, but really? I was not happy with them at all.
