Elderwood at Amherst provides comprehensive, personalized skilled nursing care, subacute care, rehab therapy, memory care and respite care. Elderwood’s secure Seasons Memory Care services address the physical, psychological and programmatic needs of residents with memory impairments; a secure floor provides a safe, less stressful environment. Short-term physical, occupational and speech therapy is offered in a bright, spacious rehab gym with state-of-the-art equipment. Telemetry services provide additional monitoring for individuals undergoing cardiac rehab.

I visited this facility
The people at Elderwood Health Care at Wedgewood (Elderwood at Amherst) were very receptive and explained the program to me. The staff was very informative and answered all the questions I had. I felt positive when I left. I'd feel comfortable using them for respite. The place was very clean, and they do a lot of things to try to stimulate their residents.
