I just placed my mom in assisted living at Evergreen Place. We chose it because it was closer to my house and to my family. I have a family that lives in Brockport and Hamlin, and they were closer to her. It's very clean, looks new, and they are all very friendly. My mom's been there for two days now. They have a beauty salon, a barber shop, a library, and a lot of living rooms that they can go to. They have activities and bingo. They do laundry once a week, they do her linens, and they keep everything very clean. Right now, she's quarantined into her room because of the COVID, so she hasn't been able to go to the dining room. She's been getting her meals in her room, but she seems to be eating fine. She says the food is great. It's a very nice facility. When you drive up to it, it looks very nice.

My mother-in-law moved in in the beginning of October 2017. The community is fine. The staff members are great. My mother-in-law has dementia, so she doesn't really enjoy activities; however, they do plenty of activities. The food looks good. Her room is almost a studio apartment without a kitchen. The facilities are nice.
