Carlyle Place of Bedford, New Hampshire, welcomes you to join our community of discovery and relaxation. Our care services are tailored to those who can no longer live independently, yet still want to retain a sense of freedom and decision-making in their lives. Our vibrant community offers both help with activities of daily living as well as more advanced care for those requiring palliative and hospice care.
Carlyle Place is one of several communities owned The Courville Communities. Since 1967 we have provided a revolutionary approach to senior living by staffing each community with a team of professionals who can meet the changing needs of our residents.
Featured Amenities
Our community offers private or semiprivate suites for new residents to choose from. Suites feature a private bathroom, television, kitchenette, storage space and views of our scenic grounds. Best of all, small pets are welcome to move in too.
Carlyle Place offers nutritious chef-prepared meals every day in our restaurant-style dining room. There is also 24-hour room service available for the times when residents want to remain in their room. Guests are welcome to join us for a meal, so just ask! Our staff curates a host of programs and activities, keeping residents physically, mentally and socially active. Favorite activities include bingo, laughter club and daily social hours.
Available Services
At Carlyle Place compassionate staff assume the chores and burdens of home maintenance and housekeeping. We are focused on providing wellness solutions to our residents so they can thrive and live a full life throughout their golden years. We are there to assist with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing and more. Medication administration is also provided by licensed nurses.
Other wellness services we provide or can make arrangements for include on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy, pharmacy services and diabetic management. When developing a care plan, we work with residents and their families to ensure we are delivering the right level of care needed.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom is already at Carlyle Place. They're fabulous, and they go above and beyond anything you would expect from an assisted-living care place. She is there for respite but she'll probably transition into assisted living. She loves it. She said the food is fabulous, and that it keeps 'just appearing.' The staff members are really nice. They have taken some pictures of her and she is smiling, so I know she is really in a good place. The managing director there, who is a nurse by training, is out-of-this-world, and she even went to my mother's apartment to meet her before we moved in. Because of COVID, there aren't that many activities right now, but they're doing some PT and rehab with her, and she is enjoying that. Every one of the staff members is lovely and professional. It is truly like a home as opposed to an institution, and you just get a really good feeling about placing your loved one there.

I visited this facility
Carlyle Place was neat and clean. I did not get to see a room because of the virus. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. I didn't even go inside any office or anything. I talked to someone outside on the porch. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the odor of it. Everything looked very well done and in good order, and I was interested and I still am interested. I might go back and ask for more information.

Carlyle Place is wonderful and very impressive. I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, and very focused on the residents. They want my dad to do better and they want a better quality of life for him. They're very accommodating and friendly. They have a lot of musical groups who come in, little kids put on a Halloween Parade, school kids sing patriotic songs for Veterans Day and color pictures for the residents, and there are off-site activities.

I visited this facility
Carlyle Place was very nice. I wouldn't have any problem putting my dad in that place. I was very pleased with what I saw. The staff was very informative. She answered all my questions and took me for a tour. I felt very comfortable. The people that I saw seemed happy. I looked at the menu, and it looked good. The people were sitting out in the front porch where they had some really nice music on. The activity coordinator was painting the women's fingernails, which I thought was nice. They were all very happy.
