Rolling Hills Ranch for its age looked very nice and well-kept. Almost everyone we met was very friendly. The tour was specific for what we asked them and we got a full tour of the entire facility. I have no complaints whatsoever and it was a very good experience. The physical appearance was good, clean, well-kept and satisfactory. The rooms upstairs kind of open to an open stairway, and that brings in lots of light. Even in the dining room, there was lots of light so it looked very cheerful. They had a dining room, recreation room, a place to show movies, and a chapel. They do field trips, transportation to doctor's appointments, and as far as inviting people in, they had this painting thing that we were asked to come to. The staff who gave us the tour was excellent. The cook brought some fresh chocolate chip cookies to my sister. The impression and the way they presented themselves were very good.

We put my mother-in-law in Rolling Hills Ranch. We were pleased with the community life that they offer. She's very happy and settled. They have a lot of different room sizes. The room that we chose for her was nice-sized square footage wise. It's a one-bedroom, little apartment. All her furniture that we took fit nicely. They showed us another room, which was much smaller. The staff has been very attentive. It's a very comfortable and welcoming place. There are a lot of activities that she has enjoyed. They spent a lot of time with us throughout the process. They have a physical therapy room.

Rolling Hills Ranch was great. JR, the sales manager, was awesome and has been keeping in contact with me and understands the situation I'm going through. She is going to work with me and my son to see how we are going to work things out. They let you know upfront how much everything is. The rooms are a pinch smaller than where I'm living right now, so it's not going to be that big of a change. The other thing I like is they have actual trees to get a decent breeze instead of just concrete. They have oodles of activities. Tomorrow they are going to have a luau, which I'm invited to. They have quite a few different card games which I like, a book club, and lots of crafts and trips. You get a lot more freedom and everything is wonderful. The food was phenomenal; just wow. I was really impressed. All of the people there were just very warm, welcoming, and made you feel comfortable. You don't feel like you're in an institution.

Rolling Hills Ranch is very good. I liked it a lot. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant. They answered our questions. Everything was very nice. The lobby and the common areas looked great. It looked like they had great activities. There's an area where they have a chapel, an area where they show movies, and there are some games. I'm looking for my brother who uses a walker, but the only room they had available for him was far away from the dining area, etc. It's actually the farthest away that a resident can be. It was definitely a deciding factor.

Rolling Hills Ranch was very good. The people were very nice. If I had more money, I'd go there. They showed me their one-bedroom apartments, the cafeteria, and the laundry room. I saw people sitting around, talking, and playing cards. The food was good.

Rolling Hills Ranch was way better lit and smelled better than all the other ones. It didn't feel heavy. It had very good lighting and it had a lot of windows everywhere. The staff was very friendly and always available. The rooms looked really clean, modern, and had a lot of windows. They have horse racing, bingo, happy hour on Fridays, and a singing night.
