Our continuing care retirement community delivers the first-class services which active seniors need to craft the retirement they have always imagined. From our modern décor to the amenity-filled apartment, we haven't overlooked anything when it comes to caring for our residents.
Featured Amenities
We offer a variety of floor plans to meet our residents' lifestyle requirements. From semiprivate floor plans for our memory care residents to spacious one bedroom apartments for our active residents, you will the perfect floor plan. Apartment features include a kitchenette, an emergency call system and walk-in closets. The monthly rent includes all utilities except phone, and we offer complimentary computer and Wi-Fi access.
Every day at Carrington Place of St Charles we offer dynamic social and cultural activities. But for those times you want to spend the afternoon by yourself, you can drop in our well-stocked library or relax in the gorgeous courtyard.
Available Services
You will enjoy three, freshly prepared meals served restaurant-style every day, and during happy hour you can sample a selection of wine, beer and cheese. We also provide scheduled transportation for errands and medical appointments. Weekly housekeeping frees you from daily chores so you can have more time having fun.
When it comes time for assistance to remain independent, we will craft a care plan that outlines the level of services you need. We provide monitoring of health needs and regular assessments to ensure that your healthcare needs are always being met. We also provide memory care, and short- and long-term care services are available at our on-site Health Center

I visited this facility
Windsor Estates of St. Charles was my favorite. It was very homey, and the people were very friendly. I really loved it the best of them all. It was a very nice facility, and it felt more like a home than a hospital. There's an indoor pool, crafts classes, and a theater room.

I visited this facility
Windsor Estates of St. Charles had a lot of activities. The residents were engaged with their community, and they had food seven days a week. It's big, it looked a little dated, but it's absolutely clean. I also love that they had a lot of green space. It's next to a park, and there were walking paths everywhere. The activity coordinator was happy to take me around. The staff I met with my mom was absolutely fabulous. The food presentation was good, and the portion was more than she could eat. It's a very large campus and everything was there, independent living, assisted living, memory care, and full nursing home. Their door has a sensor and it automatically opens. However, you don't necessarily know where you're going because there are no signs that say "Lobby this way" or "Dining area this way."

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom is at Windsor Estates of St. Charles Retirement Community, and our experience has not been great. They have very few services, very few amenities, they have so-so staff, and I don't like it. They don't have much at all. They have a gym, but they don't have an activities director on the independent side.

I visited this facility
I did not like Windsor Estates of St. Charles at all. The staff was not very friendly, and the whole place was rundown. It did not have a good feeling. They gave me a copy of the activity calendar. They had Bingo and other typical activities. They had a fitness center, arts and crafts studio, a lounge, a beauty shop, and a chapel.
