Each of our floor plan caters to an active and healthy lifestyle and offers the perfect balance between safety and comfort. Outside of the apartments, residents can explore our five-story atrium that inspires tranquility and peacefulness while giving our community a sophisticated atmosphere. In the common areas, residents can take part in a number of exciting events. Our activity director ensures that social calendars are always full of fun and engaging entertainment, from worship services and tai chi classes to happy hours and Nintendo Wii bowling games. For even more fun, the local area provides a plethora of options for dining, shopping and entertainment all just moments away. Our community's ideal location is convenient to public transportation as well as major highways, which allow our residents to quickly reach their destinations.

The Montclair offers residents the perfect balance between entertainment and quality care, safety and privacy, luxury and amenities. Our floor plans create personalized spaces that residents can truly call home. Our apartment homes feature welcomed amenities such as kitchens with full-sized appliances and wall-to-wall carpet that create a cozy environment. Wide entryways allow our residents who use wheelchairs and scooters ease of access. Our one- and two-bedroom apartments offer washer and dryer hookups. For safety, all apartments offer emergency call buttons, smoke alarms, sprinkler systems and safety-assist hand railings in the bathroom. Residents can also set the temperature with individual heating and air conditioning. We take care of all utility bills, including basic cable but excluding telephone service.

Our attentive staff is available 24 hours a day to help when needed, while housekeeping and laundry services make everyday living easier. I visited this facility
We visited The Montclair for my mom. It was really nice, but it was more expensive than what we're looking for an independent living place. The apartments were very large, very open, and well-lit. They were beautiful. The staff was very friendly. It was one that I just kind of dismissed because of the cost, but it seemed extremely clean, and well maintained. The staff were nothing but friendly and helpful.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom and my dad were able to stay at The Montclair in Springfield and I did not care for it. The staff wasn't very friendly and everyone was griping about the food. They had gone through three chefs within a month and they were out of cleaning people. I think my mom only got her place cleaned two times when she was there. The maintenance guys were quitting. I don't know what was going on there. Her apartment was bigger than her current facility. It had a bigger kitchen, bigger living room and bigger bathroom. It was pretty upscale compared to what she has now. My dad moved into it too. That was fine, but for her she didn't need one that big. She hardly ever ate the food there. They had activities, but my mom didn't go to any. They had areas outside to sit. Overall it was OK, but their trash room was never clean.
