Our intimate assisted living community is centrally located within a three-mile radius of no fewer than 10 shopping centers. We specialize in creating a unique and personalized environment for each of our residents. Rather than simply offering the same services to everyone, we allow each resident to choose and pay only for those things that they truly need and want.

At Brookdale Utica I, we focus on providing each resident a full selection of amenities to fill the day. Outdoor gardens and a courtyard are available for residents to enjoy walks and fresh air in the daytime.

I visited this facility
Mom will move into Brookdale next week. I like it, it's smaller, and homier. They do have memory care further on down the road. I found the staff caring, they know every single person by name, and they even talked to them. They have housekeeping, laundry, basic cable, and they dispense medication.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My dad is happy in Brookdale Utica. He has a single room with a full bathroom. The staff is very nice, polite, and very good. The place is very nice and clean, but it's on the pricier side.

I visited this facility
Brookdale Utica was a very nice community. It was more intimate. It had a good atmosphere, and it was quiet. However, it didn't seem like a very active assisted living. The place was very lovely, beautifully decorated, and nicely organized. The staff was very nice. However, we put money down for a place, but we are not able to move in, so we're involved with a little bit of a money hassle, and we're trying to get all of our money back. That has probably tainted my attitude about them a little bit.
