My mother is living in Brookdale Portage, and it's wonderful. The staff is wonderful, caring, compassionate, and everyone is treated with respect. They’re very happy with their chefs and I know they custom prepare a lot of their meals for certain people who live there. They have field trips, go out to lunch, arts and crafts, workout activities, music, and someone playing the guitar. They have a nice little calendar with all their daily activities. I've seen nothing but caring in place and I can see that the residents are very well taken care of and have close relationships with the staff.

I went to Brookdale Portage and the visit was fine. It was a walkthrough, I saw what was available, and what was in process. The rooms were fine and I thought they would be good for my brother. It was in close proximity to my house. I saw a calendar of activities, the staff who showed me around was very friendly, they looked very nice, they were all busy, and even the people living there looked happy and content.

They’re very accommodating and caring at Brookdale Portage. It's a beautiful facility but the biggest drawback was the layout. It just wasn't what was right for my mom because she needs more simplicity. They were gathering for some things in the sun room and they have several different places for activities. They have several different dining areas.

StoryPoint staff take the time to get to know the residents. They are attentive and caring. We couldn't be happier with the care provided and hope it continues to improve. Highly recommend for your loved ones!

The rooms at Brookdale Portage were nice and an adequate size. They have meetings and things where they recognize the veterans. The dining area was very nice and clean. The person I was in contact with seemed very nice. The facility was well maintained.
