Brookdale Novi is an older building, but very well-maintained and nice. I found the lobby to be smaller than the other place I visited, so it was a little surprise to me. The staff was excellent. I think Cathy was the woman who gave us the tour. She was very good, and went above and beyond what we were expecting. I appreciated all the advice. They were very welcoming. They didn't have a library, they just have a small give-and-take library, which wouldn't have been very accommodating to me. The rooms were typical and the one we were shown was in the process of being refurbished for a resident. The apartment was very nice. The chef spoke with us and visited with us; we were very pleased with them.

I went to Brookdale, and I thought it was excellent. I would choose it if I was ready. The staff was excellent and showed me everything. There's a courtyard and they have a lot of activities.

The rooms in Brookdale Novi are very nice. They had all the usual activities, like Bingo, social hour, card games, and arts and crafts. The dining room looks like a restaurant, and I liked that you had more options to choose from. The whole place was very clean.
