Boasting a friendly environment and plentiful activities, Ruth’s House features quality care in a homelike residence for those who can no longer live alone. Set on the JGS campus in Longmeadow, Massachusetts we are guided by Jewish values, yet serve all faiths. Independence is important to us, and each residents are always in charge of their own schedule. We offer a variety of living arrangements, from independent living for those who need little help, to assisted living and secure area for those with early- to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

Our community offers a variety of well-lit private and semi-private homes including studio and one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has in-room cable television,Wi-Fi internet and a private bathroom. Common areas include a media room, as well as on-site beauty salon and barber shop.

Ruth’s House offers nutritious meal options, including a Kosher menu, in our restaurant-style dining room. Our staff crafts a host of programs and activities, keeping residents physically, mentally and socially active. Residents can expect events such as games, get-togethers, religious services and cooking events.

Available Services

Our compassionate staff assumes the chores and burdens of home maintenance and housekeeping. Scheduled transportation is available to get you to doctor’s appointments, local shopping trips or cultural events.

At Ruth’s House, we are focused on providing wellness solutions to our residents so they can thrive and live a full life throughout their retirement. Security is assured by 24-hour staff, available to assist and respond to daily needs. We are also there to assist with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming and bathing. At “The Garden Level,” a separate and secure neighborhood, we care for those with early-to-mid-stage dementia with specialized care and programs to support those with memory loss.
