It has nice facilities and has a good value for the money. The staff seemed caring, it seemed well-managed, and it's non-profit, and independent. The rooms are small but nice, the amenities are nice, very pleasant, and homey. They have a private dining room, a lot of small living room areas, and it's less fancy than the others. It looks like a good alternative, it's reasonably priced, but I did not have as many interactions with the staff.

It was excellent for my sister. The program director was the one who spoke with us because the marketing person was not there that day. She was excellent and very helpful. She had been in geriatric health for a long time, and it certainly showed. I saw several people walking around, and I was impressed that the program director knew them by name and little stories and anecdotes that she could pass onto us about the patient. I thought that was a good thing. We looked at a nice studio room. We also saw the dining room, the rec room, and the library.

Brookdale Cushing Park was very nice, lovely, and clean. I thought the atmosphere was very good. The grounds were magnificent and beautiful. The room was nice. The gentleman who we spoke with was very nice and very helpful. We also met with the OT lady, who seemed very nice. The few residents that we saw seemed happy there.
