1 Nursing Homes Community in Bowie, Maryland

It is good. It's one of the nicer places we visited. The layout is fine and fairly spacious. The staff members are nice. The facilities are not as nice as some of the others. It is also on the smaller side. They did look like they have a decent selection of at least two choices of food. They also have a common TV room, a group activities room, and other rooms. They offer trips to various places and other activities for the residents. Overall, it was a very good community.

Brookdale was a very nice place. Their rooms impressed us. The staff was nice. What shied us away from Brookdale is that they would not give us a set price on care. They would not even give us a ballpark of what the care was going to cost. I'm not willing to go in there without at least some idea of how much it is going to cost my dad. Other than that, it seemed like a nice place.

Floradine

I visited Brookdale Woodward Estates, but they did not have the type of care I was looking for. The staff was OK, informative, and took me on the tour. The grounds and the facility were clean, but it was a bit far out from me. Some rooms have a little kitchenette and bedroom.

Rose

Brookdale Woodward Estates has been OK. They have people who come in and play music. We have exercise classes and happy hour every Wednesday. The staff seems to be good, and Mom's room is well maintained.
