Featured Amenities

Different from the larger senior living communities, our community is broken into three smaller homelike residences. Each "home" can accommodate up to 16 residents and comes with its own secured courtyard and memory garden. In addition, our homes have their own family-style kitchen, numerous lounge areas, a dining room and sun porch.

Accommodations within each home consist of a private studio apartment with private bathroom. Apartments are just large enough to allow family and friends ample space when visiting, but small enough to help prevent residents from feeling either confused or overwhelmed. Residents of Heritage of Overland Park can also take advantage of the activity rooms located within each home.

Available Services

Throughout each day, residents have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and events. These events center around the Six Dimensions of Wellness Model and can include Yoga, Bible studies, live music, creative expression and animal therapy, to name a few.

Because we specialize in memory care, each resident within our community receives individually tailored services. We take into account each senior's personal history and preferences, and we encourage our caregivers to spend time with residents and develop friendships. Staff members are on-site around the clock to provide assistance as needed, which include help with dressing, personal hygiene, medication management and more.
