My mom is a resident of Welcov Assisted Living of Spirit Lake, and she's starting to get used to the place. It's close to where I live, it's a split-level, they don't have stairs and elevators (which I like), and everything she needs is in walking distance. It's just nice and clean, the people seem friendly, and her room has windows to the east and west. They have exercises, and they will give her a ride to her to doctors' appointment. They assist her in bathing two times a week, she gets three meals a day, and they clean her room once a week.
