Featured Amenities
Montvale Estates is an all-inclusive retirement community for independent and active seniors. Our independent living apartments come in a variety of sizes and floor plans. We encourage residents to furnish their homes to their own taste and we welcome their cats and dogs. Rent includes cable television and all utilities except phone.
Our community has its own exercise and fitness room to hone the body and a billiards lounge and game room to keep the mind sharp. Our TV and media room has video gaming equipment and, for the more competitive, regular Wii bowling tournaments. Three nutritious meals a day are provided by our professional chefs, who can even cater events in our private dining room.
Available Services
If you take a close look around our community, you may notice that a few of our residents stand out. These are our Community Managers, who live on site to provide 24-hour support and security. You'll see them sharing a meal with residents in our dining room, attending one of our social events and taking the time to make sure each and every one of our residents feel welcomed and included.
As cleaning and laundry are no fun at all, our housekeeping staff will take care of all of that including laundering of linens and towels. Residents also benefit from our on-site management team, available to address concerns 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

My dad has been at Montvale Estates for about a month now. It suits all the needs he has and they're very accommodating. He is having a lot of fun playing all the activities they provide. They're keeping him occupied. He used to have hallucinations and paranoia, but none of those things have happened since he moved into this community. He is having an enjoyable time, he likes the staff, and the residents. They showed him what the activities are and helped him during meals. They also set him up with a couple of people to get to know and hang out with. The food is really good, but sometimes there's only three options. The other day, my dad had salmon, chicken, fried steak, and ice cream, so it's all really good.

What I like most about Montvale Estates is that it seems like you are not lockdown like the rest of the state is. You don't have to follow the same rules and regulations that the state has, and I like that. I like the fact that if we want to pick Mom up, and those type of things, we can actually have her leave the community and then check her back in. Those types of things following proper COVID protocol, that to me is one of the most important things. It was a clean facility. Her apartment looked recently painted with a new carpet. It's a clean facility and it looks like they will provide everything she needs. I am a little concerned that there's probably not much social interaction going on inside the community right now, but that's just part of COVID. Everybody I have interacted with within the community has been very helpful. They have a library, a little study area, and an area where they play cards.

I toured Montvale Estates, but we only saw one room because of the virus. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They don't have activities right now because of the virus. We did like the idea that he could have his own outside door, and we liked that a lot, because he could go in and out, but it's just not for us.
