Auberge at Naperville is an assisted living community that provides care to seniors with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia or memory loss. Its Life Enrichment program takes a Montessori-inspired approach to senior care, recognizing individuals' abilities while encouraging and anticipating future successes. Compassionate caregivers and staff members treat residents with respect and dignity as they assist with some of the tasks of daily living and help them improve memory and social skills. A nurse is on-site around the clock and a social worker is available on a full-time basis.
Seniors are encouraged to participate in a variety of healthy activities, such as walking outdoors on paved paths throughout the beautifully landscaped, gated community and exercising in the on-site fitness studio. A number of engaging, stimulating activities are on tap for residents to take part in, such as painting classes, large group craft sessions and guest lecturers.

We took her to The Auberge at Naperville. The outside looks good. You can't see much of the inside because of COVID-19. I mean, my general impression is favorable at this point. The staff seems very receptive and nice. My sister has Alzheimer's, so we just drove up there, called the staff, and they came out to the car and took her away like it was nothing. I am happy with it. They are having a little trouble just getting her to eat, but we were having that same issue before we transferred her. She just recently just suddenly sulked and her appetite decreased. It's not anything on their part, but part of it is that she's in a strange environment with strange people every day. She just needs to get used to that. They told me they have activities, but first they got to do an evaluation with some different kind of occupational and other types of therapy, and then they'll proceed from there.
I've been very pleased with the care of my family member at Silverado. The staff has been very kind, caring and patient with my family member. My overall experience has been very positive, they encourage involment of family and are welcoming. The food has been very good, they are very accommodating to likes and dislikes. The facility has a warm home like atmosphere. I like that there are several sitting areas to go have a visit. The courtyard outside is very nice. The nurses have been excellent.
