My mother stayed at St. Anthony of Lansing for eight months. They're not too good at explaining how they operate. They didn't explain everything they should have explained to me about the facility and the way they operate in cost and applications for Medicaid. They raised the rent for my mother, and knowing my mother's income, it wasn't right. The place was clean and had three stories. My mother had her own room. The staff needed a little work. I was there for one incident when a lady fell, and the staff didn't seem to know exactly what to do until the fire department and police got there. The lady was Spanish-speaking, and nobody knew how to communicate with her except me. They have all these people in the building, and they didn't know what to do. They had a lot of fast food coming in to the place which I thought was inappropriate for seniors.
