The apartment at Senior Suites of Joliet was very nice. I like it, and it was pretty spacious. I just can't live in a building where people smoke because I'm an asthmatic. The staff was very pleasant, explained everything well, and told me about the cost. We looked at a couple of apartments, but there was one that stood out for me. I like the parking area and all of that; there's just so much smoke in the hallway. I already live in Joliet, so I love the location. It was downtown Joliet. I didn't see any activities, but they told me about them, and there's a bus that will take you shopping. They were still doing work at that building.

Everything at Senior Suites of Joliet was fine. I loved the apartments, but the only thing was I'd like to cook my own meals, and that was impossible there. The building had an elevator, which was nice, and the laundry on each floor was good. There was plenty of glass so the 1-bedroom unit I visited was bright. They have bingo night. The staff member who showed me around was very nice.

Senior Suites of Joliet was fine. It was nicely located, and they seemed to be interested in the people there. They had activities for the residents. The room that I saw was not yet completed because somebody just moved out. It was cleaned up, and they were installing the refrigerator and something in the bathroom. I only met one person, and she was fine. The dining area and the whole place were clean. I went to the one smoking floor, but I didn’t see anyone smoking there, and it was clean.

I had no problems at Senior Suites of Joliet. It was good and quiet in the area. They had activities and different people coming in to visit and doing different things. The staff people were good. They kept the place clean, and if you put in a work order for something to be done, it was done on time. The ones working in the office were good too. They had machines where you could do your laundry. and they would take you shopping or we would get together and go for lunch. It was nice. I enjoyed living there.
