My wife's mother stayed at Prestige Assisted Living at Autumn Wind in Caldwell, and it's very nice. As a matter of fact, my wife and I thought of selling our home and just moving in there ourselves. We liked the way it was laid out, and there was a lot for people to do. We know this because we visited her every week, and they had lots of activities. They have a very nice sitting room and dining room. Their food was good, and the people were very, very nice.

My father moved into Prestige Assisted Living at Autumn Wind. It's very clean, very friendly, feels very like a home, and the people that work there are very nice, and the people that live there seem very happy and clean and enjoy that place. It's one big building, and he has his own studio apartment. They have a variety of rooms and they have another department that takes care of people that need assistance with their memory. Right now, he's at a level three for care, but he could go up or down, so he wouldn't have to change apartments. With COVID, everything's locked down, and they don't have anything really. When the COVID isn't there, they go on trips, they have activities inside the building, people come in and sing and play the piano, and they play games, they do bingo, they have barbecues, and they also set up a night where they can do Las Vegas, doing slot machines, but it's not for real money, it's just for fun. They had a lot of activities, but right now the COVID has everything shut down. They have a courtyard, a bookshelf that has books on it, each person that lives there has a person that works with them on their exercise, and they can have personal exercises set up. They have a spa, which is one of those walk-in bathtubs with the jets, and they did that for my father yesterday. They put him in the bathtub with the jets and they washed him really good and they put on his medicated powder. He said it was wonderful, and it felt great to have that done. He said the food is good. It's not a real big place, so it makes it nice.

The staff members were very helpful at Prestige Assisted Living at Autumn Wind. It was a beautiful place. At the time, they had one opening. However, the more we talked to them, we realized that we needed a lockdown. Nevertheless, the place was very good.

Prestige Assisted Living at Autumn Wind was very nice, clean, and the staff seemed very nice. I'm pretty impressed with it. We didn't have any problems at all and they were very accommodating. They have activities to keep the residents busy instead of just sitting there. They have crafts and people teach them how to do stuff to keep their minds active. The place was very clean all the way around. The outside places were very nice.

We're considering Prestige Assisted Living at Autumn Wind. I didn't like that the hallways seemed rather dark; they had lights but they weren't all on. They had places for the residents to step out, but they'd be out in the hot sun because I didn't see any awnings or tables with umbrella where people could go and sit under the shade. There didn't seem like there was a lot of staff members for the amount of people that were there. I wish there was more lightings in the hallways and more tables and shade outside. The rooms were fine and seemed adequate. They essentially have a large meeting hall or gathering place where they have different social activities, so that's a plus. The place was clean enough overall, just not that bright.
