I visited this facility
The Plaza at Waikiki is very nice, secure, and well maintained. That was something I never expected out of it, so it's something different compared to other care homes. The lady who was helping us out was very professional. The rooms they showed us were more like apartments with two bedrooms, and the rooms are pretty much all the same. There were activities going on for the residents while I was there.

I visited this facility
The Plaza at Waikiki was very busy, and the residents looked happy. They had an activity going on. They did not show us any apartments because none were available for us to look at. They serve three meals a day. They had someone singing songs that they're familiar with and they were having a good time. There was some entertainment. The staff was informative. The only thing they couldn't tell me was the cost of a small studio because the apartments were different sizes. There was no standard rate for the different rooms, studio, small studio, large studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom. Everything looked clean.
