Thrive at Augusta was very nice, and that's the one we're gonna hopefully go to. They all seemed really nice and very helpful. They are limited with what they can do with Covid, but everything was very inviting. I only looked at a 1-bedroom, because that's all I was interested in seeing, and it was clean and spacious. They showed me the dining area, a bistro area, and an exercise area where they have physical therapists come, but due to Covid, I could not tour the entire facility. I didn't meet the staff. I only met one lady, and she was awesome.

Claiborne at West Lake is very nice. The staff is very nice. There's not a whole lot of activities. They may have a lot of them that I don't participate in, but I'm not sure. The food is usually OK, nothing wonderful. My room is fine for me because I'm just the only one here. I just live here and do as much as I can. They have a place upstairs where you can go play cards if you want to. The place is always pretty clean.

I liked Elmcroft of Martinez. It's nice and well run. The rooms had good layouts. For someone who's going by themselves and doesn't need to walk much, they're a good setup. The staff seemed very professional. They had a nice ice cream parlor room or get-together room.

What we didn't like about Elmcroft of Martinez is that residents will be put in a separate locked area when they get worse. It looked like a psych ward. Everybody seemed very nice though and they explained everything.

Elmcroft of Martinez was a very clean and nice place. The rooms were nice-sized and the bathrooms were very nice. The staff seemed very friendly and the residents having lunch were in a very good mood. They had an outdoor garden, a game room, an ice cream parlor, a beauty parlor, and a nice-sized dining room. The facility was upscale.

I had a nice visit at Elmcroft of Martinez, but it’s a little expensive. The community is divided in two parts. One part was for people who has dementia and Alzheimer’s because they can’t get out, and they have to be chaperoned. With the other part, you just have to tell them when you’re leaving and when you’re coming back. They have a nice dining area and gathering area, and they have books. The staff was very nice. The single rooms are nice. It comes with a bathroom, a receiving area or a place where you can watch TV, and a bedroom.

Elmcroft was in a very good location in Martinez. Everything was very clean and didn't have an odor. The residents looked well dressed and very clean. The lady who showed us around was very informative. We toured everywhere and looked at the memory care area. We liked that they had a base price, and the level of care determined the price, but they didn't nickel and dime you for every service. They gave as a calendar of activities.
