Description of The Palms of Lake Spivey
Here at The Palms at Lake Spivey, we take every measure to remove the hassles of everyday life. We accomplish this by taking care of home maintenance, yard work and even transportation services for our residents, allowing them to spend more time enjoying their retirement. During their stay, our seniors also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of social, recreational and cultural programs.
The Palms at Lake Spivey is managed by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.

We offer a wide selection of on-site amenities for our residents to enjoy, such as our crafts studio, game room with billiards and poker tables, swimming pool, expansive fitness center and more. No matter the interest, our community has something for everyone.
Accommodations are offered in both one- and two-bedroom arrangements that come in a variety of layouts and floor plans. Each apartment comes packed with features, including nine-foot ceilings, custom ceramic bath wall tiles, raised panel cherry kitchen cabinets, deluxe five-cycle dishwasher and a stainless steel double basin sink to name just a few.
Available Services
Our staff are on site around the clock, and are always happy to lend a hand. When needed, assistance can be provided with a variety of daily tasks. These may include help with medication management, dressing, personal hygiene and a variety of other daily tasks. Standard services provided for all residences include regular housekeeping and linen changes.
For seniors who want to stay active in their retirement, The Palms at Lake Spivey has plenty to offer. For the more intellectual senior, there are book clubs, educational seminars, trivia and word games. Residents looking to be physically active can take advantage of our walking club program, exercise classes, flexibility and coordination programs.

I visited this facility
Palms of Lake Spivey is clean, and you get that grand feeling when you walk in. The people are friendly at the reception desk, which is good. They came right out to greet us. They showed us the rooms where certain activities go on. They have a formal dining room and then they have another room where they go for breakfast; I thought that was good. If you don't want to go down to get your food, they can bring it to your room, and I like that. Their food looked good and I like the fact that they have different choices. They even have facilities where your family could visit. There is a room for them to come and be in a particular area with you. You can even have a party there. They have a movie theater and a pool, which is excellent. They have several places outside where you can have your family over. If you want to get together with some friends, you can barbecue outside near the pool, and I thought that was cool. The Palms was my favorite facility thay I saw.

I visited this facility
I liked The Palms at Lake Spivey very much. The rooms were upscale, but they were clean and nice and the other amenities were nice. It seemed more homey than the other places that we went to. In addition to that, it seemed to be a more diverse community and that was important to me. The food was very good. They had a lot of things for the residents. I was particularly interested in the aerobics. Their pool is outside, but it's heated. It is an aging place.

I really liked Palms of Lake Spivey. The rooms were like apartments with a living room, sitting room, kitchenette, bath, and bedroom. They had a really nice recreational area, library, and restaurant. It looked like you're going to a big apartment complex, not a retirement community.

I visited this facility
Palms of Lake Spivey is wonderful. The apartments are beautiful. The people are friendly. The amenities are unbelievable. It's very active too. We had lunch there, and the food was wonderful. They have 2 choices on the entrees, which is very rare. The only reason that I'm not moving there is because I have decided not to move at all.

The Palms was really nice, clean, and fancy. The lady who gave me the tour was really nice. It didn’t feel like an assisted living. They had a pool, a theater, and a calendar for everything they had going on each day.
