We are situated near numerous restaurants, shops and medical care at St. Mary’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.

Apartments include both private cozy studios and spacious one- and two-bedroom homes. Each is well-designed to enable mobility, with plentiful safety features. Independent living apartments include full-kitchens, dining areas and spacious bedrooms.
Dining at The Villas at Canterfield is restaurant-style, expertly-prepared by our trained culinary staff. Additionally, our staff organizes a variety of individual, social and wellness activities to suit the interests of residents including gatherings and outings.

At The Villas at Canterfield compassionate staff assumes the chores and burdens of home maintenance and housekeeping. We are focused on providing wellness solutions to our residents so they can thrive and live a full life throughout their retirement. For those who suffer from dementia will continue to receive care as they age in place through our memory care program. Our team of talented, compassionate nurses and personal care staff provide care 24 hours each day, seven days a week. They design a personalized and individualized service plan with each resident who receives personal care. Through the efforts of our Wellness Director, care will be coordinated to include a full range of home health, physician and rehabilitation services, allowing residents to remain in the setting they now call "home".

We went to the independent living at the Villas at Canterfield. It was in a busy area as far as the traffic was concerned, but it was lovely, and it had everything. It had good parking facilities underneath the building, which were accessible. They have indoor and outdoor pools, a gymnasium, they have art classes going on, and they have a full variety of activities.

I am very pleased with the Villas at Canterfield. They have different options as to what you might need. Theyre all very nice and they showed us the different units they have. They have a room where they do exercises and group things, a game room with checkers, and they go places on field trips. People come in for church services. It sounded like they had a lot to offer. The meals they served were very good and we were pleased with it. The place was clean and the people were friendly. The residents I saw seemed happy. The person who assisted us during the tour was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.
