I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My brother moved into Promise Pointe at Tampa Oaks. It's a very nice facility, it's clean, the staff is nice, and the communication initially was very good; lately, it's not as good. They have apartments, and he can either get a studio, or share a room with someone (a roommate). They have an exercise facility, they have movie nights, a little walking trail, and they have a monthly calendar of activities. Before COVID they went to movies. He caught COVID though, and he had it for two months. It's about two or three stories tall, and they have memory care as well. He said the food is OK, and from what I saw of the menu, they have a choice if they do not want to have the special. They have snacks out and drinks. They just changed their director.

I visited this facility
Promise Pointe at Tampa Oaks was very nice, new, clean, and modern. The staff was very personable and easy going. They had a library, gameroom, movieroom, and dining area. The dining area is very nice, and it's like a sit-down restaurant. We looked at a 1-bedroom, it was very nice, and it was adequate. The facility was very clean, and had an easy layout.

Promise Pointe at Tampa Oaks is very clean and new. It's been there just over a year and they have modern amenities. It doesn't have a clinical feel at all, but rather feels like an apartment complex. My father-in-law is on their assisted living side. The staff's been great so far. He seems very welcoming, they involve him, and they have a lot of excursions that he enjoys. They go boating, go to restaurants, there's a DJ who comes in which my father-in-law enjoys, and they play cards. The dining area is very nice and it's set up like a restaurant where you sit down at a table, are given a menu, and you're served your food at the table. They have a lot of variety. My father-in-law is quite the foodie so he very much enjoys the food the chef prepares.
