Waterman Village is one of Florida's most complete and comprehensive multi-level, progressive living, retirement community campuses, offering independent living duplex homes and apartments, assisted living apartments, a memory care support house, a short and long-term nursing center, an accredited home health care agency, and a physical, occupational, speech therapy clinic, all on one campus. It is a rare, local community-operated, on-site managed, mission over margin driven, not-for-profit organization. It's located in Mount Dora Florida, which was previously ranked by USA Today as Florida's number one small town to retire to. It was established in 1989 by Waterman Hospital in Tavares.
