VERY NICE ACCOMMODATIONS, TERRIFIC BATHS, PLEASANT STAFF DO A DECENT JOB. THE FOOD IS AWFUL AT BEST. CHEF IS INEPT AND ARROGANT, FULL OF EXCUSES FOR HIS BAD FOOD.

My husband was a resident of Mangrove Bay Memory Care for a year. I highly recommend this facility for their professional, caring, and compassionate staff. He received excellent care and they provided me with a kindness that I will be forever grateful for. Resident are treated as special people and care is tailored to the individual. Make this facility top on your list when looking for memory care.

Mangrove Bay was quite pricey and a little bit smaller than the other places. I only saw one group of women at a table and I didnt see hardly anybody else around. The rooms were very nice though. The place was very nice, but I felt that there wasn't a lot going on that day, and I would have thought there'd be a lot going on since it was Independence Day. It was very pretty and well-kept, but it just didn't seem like there was enough going on. Their dining looked really nice and I liked the layout. It was almost too subtle and I didnt see enough people out and about, which worried me.

Atria Park of St. Joseph's was very nice, but it's not what I was looking for. It was very welcoming though. For the people it was appropriate for, it was very nice. It's fine. I was there for only a few minutes, but it was very nice. The person in charge was excellent.

I like Mangrove Bay. It's a good location. The place is light and bright. They have a pool too. The one-bedroom apartment is spacious, light, and nicely decorated. It has a terrace, a full kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, closet space, and a nice bathroom. There's a washer and dryer in the apartment, too. Everything is included. The people are very good and very pleasant. They serve continental breakfast and dinner. You get an allowance for your dinner. They have a café where you can get sandwiches or salad at lunchtime, so you don't have to go out and you don't have to cook.

My mom lived in the memory care unit at Mangrove Bay for 15 months. She received excellent care and respect from all levels - nursing, activities (great activities director), food, floor attendants and executives. Every time we visited mom we were impressed with the cleanliness of the area, that (in my opinion) the floor was staffed appropriately and that the employees treated residents with respect. The interaction between Mangrove's employees and hospice was excellent. I would choose Mangrove again without question.

The people from Comfort Keepers are good. They are always prompt and listen to what I have to say. There are two people who help me for 10-12 hours a day. They don’t do the medication, but they’re driving me to doctors’ appointments, they’re getting me food and making sure that I eat and shower.
Go a bit further out to explore pricing and amenities.
